General Information
AGE REQUIREMENT: For Groups A, Y, O, M, for both credit card holders and cash renters minimum age 21. For groups J, P, S, minimum age 23 and maximum age 70 yrs.
DRIVERS LICENCE: A valid licence held for at least one year is required.
MINIMUM RENTAL: One day. Every hour in excess is calculated at 1/5 daily rental.
CANCELATIONS: Deposits are non-refundable
TRAFFIC FINES: Tickets and attached administrative sanctions, resulting from any form of violation of the Greek Traffic Law during rental period are borne solely by the renter.
DEPOSITS: Deposits are required for rentals being delivered and collected to Airports and Ports. Deposits are taken in the form of open credit cards or cash deposits.
GASOLINE: Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter. Clients are obliged to leave the car with the same amount of fuel as when delivered, otherwise a fuel charge will be put forward. EuroHire do not give refunds for excess fuel.
CHILD COTS / BABY SEATS / BOOSTER SEATS: Available on request, the first seat is for free additional seats are charged at 5€ per day.
AVAILABILITY: Car models are according to original planning. Delivery problems, however, may compel us to supply another vehicle in exceptional cases. Cars are reserved by group of car and not car model.
DELIVERY AND COLLECTION CHARGES: FREE, except for:
- Pick-Up/Drop-Off between 21.00hrs – 07.00hrs is charged 30€.
- Out of hours Pick-Up/Drop-Off 2100-0700 is charged at 30 €.
- Pick-Up/Drop-Off to your accommmodation is charged at 20 € each way.
- Pick-Up/Drop-Off at Skinari (St.Nicholas Port) is charged at 40 € each way.
FERRYING THE CAR: Is strictly forbidden, the EuroHire insurance policy does not cover any cars leaving the island of Zakynthos.
Insurance Information
COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE (C.D.W.): with C.D.W. insurance renters liability is reduced to 300€ for all car categories. However, C.D.W. insurance does not cover damages to the vehicle if they have been caused by negligence, on unasphalted roads, by any violation of the Greek Traffic Law, also any unrepairable damages the tyres, rims, undercarriage or interior of the vehicle will be paid for by the renter. Furthermore, keys, canvas roofs and wheel covers and other accessories are not covered by C.D.W. insurance. Clients are obliged to inform EuroHire immediately in case of an incident otherwise insurance may be void.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (P.A.I.): Personal Accident Insurance included for internet customers, covers the driver and each passenger, with the following amounts respectively:

ADDITIONAL DRIVERS: Internet customers are insured for max 2 named drivers per vehicle
FULL C.D.W. INSURANCE (Full C.D.W.): Included for internet bookings and covers the vehicle for damages to the tyres, rims, undercarriage, initial legal aid, it also covers additional drivers and passengers for P.A.I. With this package the excess on all categories of cars is wavered.
