A few musts for Zante town are a visit to the 'St. Dionysis' church, a coffee stop at 'St. Markos' square and a relaxing walk round the harbour front. End your day by driving to 'Bohali' (the peak above Zante Town) in order to get an amazing view of the southern part of Zante, whilst savoring the local delicacies in one of the many tavernas.

Commence the day by traveling south west to the beautiful bay of 'Limni Keriou' and have morning refreshments overlooking the crystal clear waters with 'Marathonisi' (turtle island) in the back drop. Later, head up to the 'Keri Lighthouse' for even more spectacular views of the 'Keri Caves'. From here head towards the traditional village of 'Kiliomeno' passing through the village of 'Agalas'. 'Kiliomeno' is renowned for its beautiful church and bell-tower situated in the center of the village. Once having visited 'Kiliomeno' continue heading north, through the

country roads towards 'Aghios Leon' (one of the few undamaged villages after the great earthquake), on arriving at the village, look out for signs to 'Porto Roxa' and 'Porto Limnionas'. Whether you aim for either 'Roxa' or 'Limnionas' you will be taken by surprise at the beauty of these two blue lagoons, so jump into the cool refreshing waters before heading off for more fun.

We now head back through the village of 'Kiliomeno' and down the mountain round, to the village of 'Macherado'. 'Macherado' houses the wonderful church of 'Aghia Mavra' a must for all visit. Continue your day out by heading towards 'Aghios Kirikas' driving through the Zantes olive grove country. On entering the village of 'Aghios Kirikas' one will come across one of Europes Largest aqua parks, 'Water Village' which was opened in 2003'. 'Water Village' pride themselves on high safety standards and extreme enjoyment for all the family, so make sure you have plenty of time to appreciate the park.

Todays tour will start at the 'Vergio Museum' in 'Alykes', a place where one can step back in time and see how the local way of life was in the past. Having finished travelling back in time aim now to the north, passing through the village of 'Katastari' following the snake like road with amazing views up to the cave full cove of 'Makris Gialos'. Its here that you put on your masks and flippers and enjoy the wonderful sea life this cove has to offer.

Next stop will be further north in the hills, at Zantes only wildlife and nature park,'Askos'. A must for all nature lovers, giving one the chance to enjoy Zantes true rarely discovered beauty. Moving on from 'Askos' we head towards the twin villages of 'Volimes' and 'Ano Volimes' here one can have light refreshments before the scouting around the local stalls, bartering for the best deals on local produce and handicrafts.

Moving on from 'Volimes' and to Zantes most pictured site, that of the 'Navajio', otherwise known as 'the ship wreck'. Here one can get great postcard shots of the breathtaking views of the ship wreck and smugglers cove. Finally, one will now drive a few kilometers south to the amazing peaks of 'Kampi', where one will experience the most beautiful sunset in the Ionian. Get there early and head straight for the 'Sunset Taverna'. Ask for 'Michalis' the owner, who will offer you a great variety of home made local Greek specialties, a favorite of all the EuroHire team.
